WHO ARE THE DUNDEE GOSPEL CHOIR (DGC)?
You! or some singers from your church! DGC will be part of The New Scottish ministry and will support the church in Dundee in their worship, outreach and evangelism. Their first event will be supporting Dundee For Christ in their Resurrection Day event in the Caird Hall. After that, all being well, we will work towards an outreach Christmas Concert in the Caird Hall on December 17th 2005.

WHO ARE THE NEW SCOTTISH?
The New Scottish is passionate about communicating the Christian message through music... The New Scottish has various orchestras, choirs and bands around Scotland and is excited about the possibility of the DGC. The New Scottish has worked over the years with Matt Redman, Philip Yancey, Moya Brennan, among others...

WHO CAN JOIN?
Anyone who can sing really well and is between 18-40 ish (give or take a few years!).
We are limiting the age range, not to exclude people, but due to the nature and style of the music. We need to work within some parameters to produce a high quality choir (this is in fitting with other well established gospel choirs)
Please invite established singers from your church to join! It is important to us that we have a broad representation of churches and not just loads from a few...

This is to be confirmed... Any offers! We need a church / hall in a fairly accessible location that is free on Monday nights

WHAT ABOUT THE ORCHESTRA?
Please contact us if you are an instrumentalist of grade 6/7 standard or above... Along with the band "VISION" and the DGC we hope to add an orchestra to Resurrection Day. To do this we really do need to find all the Christian orchestral musicians in the Dundee area get them along! It would probably be easier to speak directly to people about this - so please do send me names of instumentalists in your church!
